On hot days or even worse, humid days, I really like a light breakfast or refreshing drink. Smoothies are a great, quick breakfast and also a great refreshing drink before/after a workout. The pina colada is a classic drink that most people instantly know the flavors of. This smoothie very much tastes like a tropical summer feels. It can be added to in many ways to include a little rum or bourbon if you are looking for a more adult drink after a long day. It’s quite easy to make and anyone can make them as long as you have a blender.
Makes 2 16oz Glasses
|Total Time: 5 minutes|
- 2 bananas
- 4 oz of fresh pineapple
- 2 oz fresh, unsweetened coconut
- 1 cup almond/coconut milk
- Add all of your ingredients to a blender and blend for 2 minutes
We tend to use crushed ice because it blends quicker.
